Dr. Floyd Miñana D.C.
Dr. Miñana is 1981 magnum cum laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Western campus and has been a practicing doctor of Chiropractic since 1982. He holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a graduate degree in Urban Planning from San Jose State University.
He has completed the chiropractic orthopedics program of the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and is an Advanced Proficiency certified doctor with Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique.
He has studied nutrition and exercise and has been a Yoga practioner for over thirty years.
Dr. Miñana has been a member of the California Chiropractic Association (CCA), the largest chiropractic trade association in the world, since 1979. He has been active in the local chapter of CCA, the San Mateo County District (SMCCD) He has served as President, Director, newsletter editor, treasurer and is currently vice-president. He has served on statewide CCA committees including ethics and nominations.
He was born in San Francisco, attended Corpus Christi School and Riordan High School in the City and has lived in the Bay Area all his life save for a four year stint in the Air Force. He has been a resident of San Mateo since 1978.
His hobbies included organic gardening, cooking, hiking, fitness and reading on topics ranging from personal development to business, economics, politics, religion and sports.
